I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE HDR EFFECT WAS HARD BUT IT’S ACTUALLY LIKE A 5 STEP THING BESIDES DUPLICATING AND FLATTENING SHIT HOLY FUCK I CAN DO IT. I’M SO EXCITED WOW THAT’S LOVELY and I have to share because no one every taught me this.

Open your picture.

Duplicate layer (Ctrl+J)

Overlay that shit 50%

Flatten image (Ctrl+E)

Duplicate that one layer that you have now (Ctrl+J)

Desaturate (Shift+Ctrl+U)

Invert (Ctrl+I)

Gaussian Blur it to 40

Now overlay that B&W Blurred image

Duplicate and sharpen if necessary

Man, I don’t like when people do that. I had to deal with this for years, and I’m sorry that you gotta go through it too :/

It seems people don’t understand that communication through the internet is actually pretty connected to everything nowadays, and people can actually help each other out that way, too.

I get those rambles about jobs still, but due to stupid crap I can’t work yet, so I get lectures about that too. I kinda know your pain, and I am really sorry that we can’t do much besides some advice.

He expects you to hold two jobs and then more? It ain’t that easy to do so, especially in modern society, where everything is just about networking and being a social butterfly and making everyone like you. An introverted person like me has trouble, and being an artist is still looked down upon as a profession/job/career/ect. and it’s really discouraging… I wish people could understand that not everyone’s the same, or cut out to work every single day of their life to be happy. There’s actually others who like a simpler life, or to not be working 24/7…

I dunno if you are prone to anxiety disorders like I am, but I know what it’s like to be forced into trying to work in a job that requires a lot of social interaction, and it does suck…. I really hope you don’t have anxiety problems…it’s terrible, and having two jobs and then being expected to go to school won’t make it any better :( I hope he lets up on that, really.
